For over 20 years David Booker has been entertaining and thrilling audiences in the Denver area. His very hip music is presented with flair, a sense of humor and a clean cut positive and professional attitude. As a kid growing up on the outskirts of the gritty industrial town of Manchester, England, David Booker listened to Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. He was raised on “skiffle,” a distinctly British hybrid of American folk-blues and early rock & roll. As a 14 year old, Booker sang and played guitar, at school dances and youth clubs. After he graduated to pubs and clubs, his musical career was off and running!

David is available as a solo, duo, or with his band Swingtet as a Trio, 4 or 5 piece band. Versatility Abounds! They perform all forms of American ‘Roots’ Music, from JAZZ/SWING…BLUES..BALLADS..and ROCK n’SOUL, from Duke,(Ellington)to Dylan and the Dead! From cocktail lounge/Dinner Background Music,to Rock ,Blues and Funky 60′s R&B for Dancing and Boogie-ing Down!
