His very hip music is presented with flair, a sense of humor and a clean cut positive and professional attitude. As a kid growing up on the outskirts of the gritty industrial town of Manchester, England, David Booker listened to Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. He was raised on "skiffle," a distinctly British hybrid of American folk-blues and early rock & roll. As a 14 year old, Booker sang and played guitar, at school dances and youth clubs. After he graduated to pubs and clubs, his musical career was off and running!
