This world class gala orchestra time travels effortlessly from present to past dance eras with youthful energy, expressive vocalists, dancing horns and a powerful rhythm section. If the 40's and 50's are your style, the JBO can echo the traditions of renowned bands and leaders of the past, such as, Meyer Davis and Lester Lanin and the fabulous swing sounds of Glen Miller and Tommy Dorsey.

The orchestra's most common size is 21 pieces and includes 6 horns, 4 strings, 6 featured vocalist/dancers, a 5 piece rhythm section. (3 technical personnel also travel with the band.)

Minimum instrumentation is 10 pieces: 1 male vocalist, 1 female vocalist, lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums, trumpet, trombone, saxophone and percussion.
